Javier M. Figueroa, MD, PhD

I am a board-certified (ABCNS) adult and pediatric Neurosurgeon, with fellowship training in both brain and spine trauma. Over the past several years I’ve gained extensive experience in the medical-legal realm, and now dedicate myself to helping patients involved in various types of accidents.

Prior to medical school, I graduated from the US Air Force Academy and served 5 years of active duty as a scientist and engineer. During that time I also obtained a Master’s Degree from the University of Colorado in biology. I then separated from the military and entered the MD/PhD program at the University of Texas at Houston, eventually graduating with a focus on Neuroscience. I then spent almost a decade in Neurosurgery training, followed by private practice.

My medical background gives me a unique perspective when evaluating personal injury cases, and I’m confident we can help you no matter what the symptoms are.
